"The goal toward which all history tends is peace, not peace through the medium of war, not peace through a process of universal intimidation, not peace through a program of mutual impoverishment, not peace by any means that leaves the world too weak or too frightened to go on fighting, but peace pure and simple based on that will to peace which has animated the overwhelming majority of mankind through countless ages. This will to peace does not arise out of a cowardly desire to preserve one's life and property, but out of conviction that the fullest development of the highest powers of men can be achieved only in a world of peace."

While I agree peace will indeed be the end result, it is certainly not the trend or tenancy of the natural man. Conviction there will be, for it is the work of the Holy Spirit, and He rests not. The peace will come to the world and we who have waited for it, watching ever ready will find it first. The rest of the world, however, will marvel at the toil upon it. They will remember then, and for some it will be their salvation. The world you see is not ours. She moans like a woman in labor to be freed from the constraints placed against her in the garden. There will be peace, after these things pass. More wars, deception, and grandeur. For such is the world sold into the bedrooms of evil men, and it's at their whores they will be found.
