Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

I do love this quote, but it it's a quote by Marianne Williamson, often incorrectly attributed to Mandela. Still, it's nice to start my morning by seeing it. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for putting me straight on that Laura. I have altered the credit accordingly. Ray
ReplyDeleteThe quotation is striking, though I suspect it also has a darker side. In a sense the ecological crisis is the outcome of our deadly 'brilliance'.
