Connection ~ Dean Ornish

"In short, anything that promotes a sense of isolation often leads to illness and suffering. Anything that promotes a sense of love and intimacy, connection and community, is healing."

  1. So true but I tend to like some degree of solitude.

  2. So do I, but I think solitude is different to isolation. There is no loneliness in solitude because one is enjoying the reconnection to self and God or nature etc. I have often felt isolated at work, despite there being people around me and lots to do. It actually led to me becoming ill and seeking a transfer.
